OTP Feature

OTP is sent when

1. The customer edits the basic information of their profile, such as first name, last name, email or any custom fields
2. The customer is trying to change their phone number
3. The customer updates their address form
4. The customer changes their password
5. The client wants to log in using OTP
6. The customer registers an account

and the details are updated only if the OTP is verified.

Featured features

Edit alert feature

In addition, this extension can send an alert email when the fields are updated.  For example, when a customer is trying to change their password, they receive an alert email and alert SMS at their registered email address and phone number.

Resend OTP resource

Customers can use the OTP resend feature after some time (in seconds).  Admin sets this time limit and seconds in the configuration.  Admin also sets the maximum number of resubmission attempts.

Blocking feature

The ability to send or resend OTP will be blocked for the client that has exceeded the maximum limit number.

Check the old password to change to the new password

The extension also has an optional feature to check the old password in order to change to a new password.

Log in with OTP

Customers can now log in with OTP.  A customer can enter their email address or phone number to receive the OTP at their registered email address or registered phone number.

Registry Verification

Email and phone number (optional) of the registered customer can be verified and the account is only created after successful verification.  This feature ensures that you have a genuine client and not spam or bots.
